About TAyumira
Teaching tools built by a classroom, for the classroom.
TAyumira is the AI teaching assistant that gives teachers back their evenings. We turn syllabus fragments into structured, engaging lessons in minutes — without flattening the pedagogy you already know works.
Why we built this
Every great lesson plan used to mean hours of blank-page work: pulling objectives, scaffolding activities, building a presentation, and writing checks for understanding. Most teachers we spoke to were doing this at the kitchen table at 9pm. The parts that needed a human — judgement, differentiation, knowing the class — were getting the least time.
TAyumiratakes the mechanical first draft off your plate. You describe the topic, year group, and learning outcomes. We produce a structured lesson, a slide deck, and formative check questions aligned to established pedagogical frameworks. You stay in the driver's seat and edit anything you want. The point isn't to replace a teacher's planning — it's to start it at minute ten instead of minute zero.
What we believe
- Pedagogy first. Every generated lesson is built around a named teaching method — direct instruction, inquiry, problem-based, and more — not a generic LLM template. The structure matches how teachers actually teach.
- Teachers stay in control. AI drafts. Teachers decide. Every output is editable, exportable, and yours. We don't hide the pedagogy behind a black box.
- Privacy by default. Student data stays in your classroom. We don't train third-party models on your lessons. Accounts are protected with standard authentication and stored in a GDPR-aligned infrastructure.
