How TAyumira handles your data

Information we collect

Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and the role you select (teacher or student). We use Supabase Auth for authentication and do not store passwords directly.

Lesson content: Text, PDFs, and URLs you provide as source material for lesson generation. Generated lesson plans, slide storyboards, and associated metadata.

Classroom data: Class enrollment records, student engagement signals, confusion indicators, and quiz responses submitted during live lessons.

Usage data: Generation counts, subscription tier, and basic request metadata for rate limiting and analytics.

How we use your data

We use your data to generate lesson plans, power the presentation and export features, provide classroom analytics to teachers, and manage your subscription. Source content is sent to OpenAI and Anthropic APIs for AI processing and is subject to their respective data policies.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your lesson content to train AI models. We do not share student data with third parties beyond the AI providers needed to generate content.

Data storage and security

All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring teachers can only access their own lessons and classes. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies: We use a small number of cookies that are required for the site to work — your Supabase authentication session and Stripe Checkout flow. These cannot be turned off and are not used for tracking or advertising.

Optional analytics: With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how TAyumira is used so we can improve it. Analytics is off by default — nothing is sent to Google until you accept in the cookie banner.

What we send to Google Analytics: page paths, product events (for example sign_up, lesson_generated, lesson_exported, begin_checkout, purchase), the plan or credit pack purchased, and coarse device and country information Google infers from your IP address.

What we never send: your email address, your name, the content of your lessons or source material, student responses, or your Stripe customer and payment IDs.

Consent Mode v2: before you make a choice, the Google tag runs with all advertising and analytics signals set to denied, so no analytics cookies are written and no events are recorded. If you accept analytics, the analytics_storage signal is granted; advertising signals stay denied — we do not run advertising.

You can change your choice at any time: Cookie preferences.

Your rights

You can view, edit, and delete your lessons from the teacher dashboard. To request account deletion, use the "Delete Account" option in your account settings. If you cannot access your account, contact us at support@tayumira.com. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified request. Billing records and legal compliance data may be retained as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
