For Schools & Districts
TAyumira for Schools & Districts
Institutional deployment for K-12 schools, districts, and teacher-preparation programs. Built around ten evidence-based teaching methods, live student engagement, and aggregate analytics that stay in the hands of the teacher and the school.
Why institutional buyers choose TAyumira
Heads of department, curriculum leads, IT admins, and procurement teams get one tool that collapses three jobs: lesson planning, classroom delivery, and real-time understanding checks. Teachers generate structured plans aligned to ten research-backed pedagogies (retrieval practice, explicit instruction, inquiry-based learning, cooperative learning, problem-based, mastery, flipped, gamified, direct, and project-based) without abandoning the curriculum document they already use.
Delivery is built in. Slide decks, check-for-understanding prompts, live quizzes, and confusion flags run from the same plan the teacher generated — no re-authoring, no second login. Every classroom signal flows back to the teacher dashboard as aggregate engagement and mastery data, giving curriculum leads a clearer picture of what landed, without constructing a separate student record system.
For procurement: TAyumira is a web-based service with no per-device install, no browser plug-in, and no requirement for student accounts in the generic Free and Starter tiers. Schools plan adds the institutional controls described below.
FERPA
TAyumira is designed to avoid holding personally identifiable student academic records in a form that would trigger FERPA disclosure obligations on our side. When students join a live session, they do so through a short-lived join code; engagement signals — answers to checks-for-understanding, polls, confusion flags — are captured as aggregate analytics that flow back to the classroom teacher, not stored as a durable student academic record by TAyumira. The school remains the education record custodian under FERPA; TAyumira operates as a school-service-provider with a legitimate educational interest, processing only what the teacher needs to run and review the lesson. We do not sell student data to third parties.
COPPA (K-6 deployments)
For K-6 deployments, TAyumira operates under the school-service-provider model: the school obtains parental consent through its existing procedures and authorises TAyumira to provide the service to children in its classrooms. We do not collect personally identifiable information from children for targeted advertising, and we do not use student inputs to build advertising profiles. We do not sell student data to third parties. If your district needs a signed data-processing addendum, request one during the procurement discussion.
Data residency
Data is processed via Supabase infrastructure. Regional deployment options (US or EU) are available for institutional plans. Because residency commitments have legal weight, we confirm the specific region, backup scope, and retention terms in writing during the procurement discussion — please ask and we will put it in the contract rather than publish a generic claim here.
SSO
Single sign-on (Google Workspace, Microsoft / Azure AD, SAML) is available on the Schools plan. Because SSO configuration depends on your identity provider, domain verification, and rostering source, we set it up during onboarding — request SSO as part of your procurement discussion and we will scope the integration to your environment.
Admin console
The Schools plan admin console covers the operational surface a district IT team actually needs:
- Roster management — add, move, and deactivate teachers and classes
- Teacher provisioning — bulk invite by email or through SSO directory sync
- Usage dashboard — per-teacher and per-school activity, lessons generated, live sessions run
- License allocation — assign, reassign, and reclaim seats across departments
- Audit trail — track account-level changes for internal review
Volume pricing
Schools plan pricing is custom, based on licence count and term length (annual or multi-year), with invoiced billing and purchase orders accepted. Rather than publish per-seat numbers that don't reflect your rostering reality, we quote against your actual teacher headcount and rollout plan.
Pilot programs launching
TAyumira is opening pilot programs with schools and districts now. Rather than publish fabricated case studies, we'd rather run a scoped pilot with your team — a single department or grade band — and write up the outcome together. If that's useful to you, reach out and we'll put a short pilot plan in front of your curriculum lead.
